A safe haven

Our Facility

A place of transformation

The Boise Girls Academy campus resides on 3 acres of land in Nampa, Idaho, located near the Boise River and Lake Lowell and nestled against foothills of the Rocky Mountains. As well as being 15 miles from Boise — the largest metropolitan area in Idaho — Nampa enjoys great scenery, many natural resources, and year-round outdoor activities. In addition, the Boise area consistently lands on national “best places” lists for families, businesses and recreation year after year.

Creating a Hope-Filled Environment

Our 14,300 sq. ft. facility houses the dining room, kitchen,  classroom, library, music room, art room, lounge/living room, staff apartments, and administrative offices. Our campus also features basketball and pickle ball courts, and a beautiful garden.

Because of our proximity to beautiful mountain surroundings, Boise Girls Academy enjoys many activities from hiking on our many mountain trails to walking on the Boise River Greenbelt. The Boise area has it all – desert, rivers, mountains and lakes for hiking, camping, kayaking, river rafting, and fishing.

Farm Animals and Fair Weather

We currently have 34 chickens, 5 friendly goats, a free roaming bunny, and an amazing Turkey named Bradley. The students can help take care of the animals and can apply to be on the animal team if they desire.

Weather in Nampa is great! We enjoy four distinct seasons with hot, dry summers, mild springs and falls, and winters with little snowfall. Our climate is considered semi-arid.
